News, props, and shameless plugs

I just secured space for the very first meeting of the Eugene Flash & Flex User Group! I've wanted a group like this for a while but it's difficult in a smaller city so ultimately I gave up and created it myself. I'm hoping we can get some interested people and a good mix of creatives and devs from the full spectrum. However this thing shakes out, I'm sure it will be an interesting experience.
In the course of that news, I put up a dedicated blog for the group: effx.org, using a standalone WordPress install and the extremely slick OnePress framework that the smart guys over at PBL have been developing, without which this thing would never have gotten off the ground.
So if you have an interest in Flash, Flex, or AS and you live in the greater Eugene area, drop by the meeting and check it out.
